Job Summary

Provide Scrum/Agile leadership for the Department of Veterans Affairs Data Modernization initiative, leading and coordinating modernization activities. Facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and support sprint reviews with a Sr. Project Manager. Coach teams in Scrum and Kanban, continuous learning and improvement, and apply Agile/DevOps practices. Manage Jira usage, maintain Program Scrum Guide elements, track progress, and communicate status and next steps to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute and manage the implementation and deployment of Agile solutions within a technical team.
•Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-up, sprint retrospective, and backlog refinement.
•Mentor and coach the team in agile techniques and processes, including Scrum and Kanban.
•Work alongside a Sr. Project Manager to facilitate and prepare for Sprint Review.
•Manage day-to-day activities of the VA Data Modernization effort, ensuring alignment with program goals and communicating status and next steps to stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 145,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (or commensurate experience).
•12+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
•Certifications such as CSM, CSPO, CAPM.
•Experience leading 1+ Scrum Teams and facilitating scrum ceremonies.
•Experienced in Jira management and Confluence use.
