Job Summary

Support AMD’s Datacenter Product Application Engineering team by working directly with AI-based GPU/accelerator customers across Cloud, Enterprise, HPC, and Sovereign AI. Manage technical customer interactions, guide bring-up and validation of AMD Instinct GPUs, lead debugging of hardware/firmware issues, and analyze performance. Contribute to manufacturing/screen test development, author technical materials, and help improve customer experience across software and hardware.

Key Responsibilities

•Directly manage technical interaction with key customers to enable deployment of AMD Instinct Accelerators in customer systems.
•Support customers in bring-up and validation of AMD Instinct GPUs; guide use of AMD tools, qualification test methods, and analysis of test results.
•Lead debug of customer-reported hardware and firmware issues and drive root-cause investigation with cross-functional teams.
•Work with customers on development of manufacturing/screen tests to ensure reliability at scale.
•Author design guidelines, technical presentations, and training material; provide recommendations to improve customer experience with AMD software and hardware.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,200 - 199,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Familiarity with PCIe standards and PCIe-based hardware development, including high-speed IO signals and power/performance analysis.
•Comfort with functional and electrical validation, performing quantitative issue analysis, and finding solutions.
•Hands-on system-level debugging experience across system bring-up, hardware debug, and performance optimizations.
•Strong knowledge of server and data center system architecture and interfaces, including relevant standards such as PCIe.
•Experience with Enterprise Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL, SLES) and strong communication to convey technical results.
