Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and govern multi-cloud architecture standards across Azure, AWS, and GCP, creating reusable reference architectures and leading architecture reviews.
  • •Integrate cost optimization into architecture and engineering practices, including unit economics, chargeback/showback, cloud costing methodologies, and FinOps maturity programs.
  • •Lead cloud optimization efforts such as application rationalization, cloud migration, and platform modernization to identify savings and implement financial guardrails.
  • •Establish standards for cloud consumption, tagging, allocation, lifecycle management, and capacity planning while aligning with security, compliance, operational, and risk requirements.
  • •Partner with engineering teams to automate cost controls, budget management, policy enforcement, and reporting, supporting FinOps platforms and Infrastructure-as-Code/FinOps-as-Code practices.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, or technology strategy experience, plus 8+ years of public cloud experience across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
  • •5+ years of FinOps, cloud economics, cloud governance, or cost optimization experience.
  • •Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and enterprise architecture decisions.
  • •Deep expertise in governance frameworks and cloud financial management, including unit economics and allocation methodologies.
  • •Experience with cloud migration and modernization, including Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation), and cost management tools (Flexera, CloudHealth, Apptio Cloudability, or native CSP tooling).
