Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Consultant Neurosurgeon in Trauma & Emergency On-Call services.
  • •Assess and manage neurosurgical emergencies and trauma patients.
  • •Provide inpatient neurosurgical care, including pre- and post-operative management.
  • •Conduct routine OPD consultations and follow-up of neurosurgical patients.
  • •Assist in surgical procedures and provide perioperative support as required, participating in multidisciplinary discussions to ensure patient safety and care.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical Degree with recognized Specialist qualification in Neurosurgery.
  • •DHA eligibility / eligibility for DHA Specialist licensing is essential.
  • •6-8 years post-specialty experience as a Specialist Neurosurgeon.
  • •Experience supporting a high-volume Neurosurgery / Trauma service, with exposure to emergency and trauma cases.
  • •Ability to support Neurosurgery Trauma On-Calls, manage inpatient/post-operative care, and independently manage routine OPD consultations.
