Understand building hierarchy, point names/tags, and HVAC designs, engage cross-functionally for deployments and onboarding, and maintain thorough documentation through post-deployment handoff.

Key Responsibilities

•Use Python scripts and front-end user interfaces to support digitalization and development of projects.
•Test, deploy, and report on algorithms for project deployments to relevant stakeholders.
•Support project handoff and algorithm deployment, ensuring timely completion of deployments.
•Understand building hierarchy, point names and tags, and building HVAC designs to support documentation and integration.
•Maintain standardized deployment procedures, support config/control updates, and provide post-deployment handoff support while documenting work processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in building or mechanical engineering (or related technical degree) with 8–10 years of experience in building automation and HVAC control systems.
•In-depth knowledge of building HVAC equipment and familiarity with the range of equipment found in buildings.
•Practical experience with DDC (Direct Digital Control), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), or similar programming in BAS (Building Automation System) and HVAC control.
•Familiarity with building management system protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
•Proficiency in Python and understanding of basic control practices are considered an asset.
