Key Responsibilities

  • •Continuously monitor security alerts from sources such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus tools to identify potential incidents.
  • •Triage and classify security incidents, determining severity and potential impact using established criteria.
  • •Execute initial incident response procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery, and escalate as needed.
  • •Review and analyze logs from multiple sources to identify unusual patterns or activities indicating threats.
  • •Support phishing identification and escalation, data loss prevention (DLP), and vulnerability response while staying current with emerging threats.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of experience working with event monitoring and management, preferably in a global SOC setting.
  • •Knowledge of log management tools and solutions such as Splunk and QRadar.
  • •Good knowledge of networking and endpoint detection tools (e.g., Sophos, Rapid7 and NDR/EDR tools).
  • •Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, and macOS).
  • •Security certifications such as Security+ (or similar).
