Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert direction on fire studies, fire and safety communication, public warning systems, and hazardous materials management.
  • •Lead fire strategies and present reports and recommendations to RSFRS and RSG executive management.
  • •Oversee health, safety, and fire-related policies and practices, including fire investigations, safety audits, and inspections.
  • •Direct preparation of management information (MIS) reports, set performance standards, and ensure accountability across fire and safety functions.
  • •Lead finance and accounting for the department, including budgeting, transaction and invoice tracking, and oversight of contracts, purchase orders, and SLAs.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive senior leadership experience in fire services, civil defense, or emergency management at Director or equivalent level.
  • •Proven track record developing and executing fire safety and emergency response strategies in large, complex organizations.
  • •In-depth knowledge of international fire safety codes, hazardous materials management, and emergency response frameworks.
  • •Strong experience in regulatory compliance, policy development, and cross-functional governance.
  • •Advanced qualifications in Fire Service Leadership, Incident Command, or Health & Safety (Master’s degree preferred).
