Job Summary

Implement technical procurement processes for airline fleet and third-party aircraft engineering and maintenance, including spare parts, components, tools, and equipment. Manage supplier contracts, purchases, and payments per approved standards and regulations. Partner with stakeholders to support airworthiness and operational requirements, evaluate vendors, support negotiations and competitive bids, and maintain accurate procurement and supplier records using an inventory control system.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement technical procurement processes for engineering and maintenance, covering spare parts, components, tools, and equipment.
•Interface with stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure requirements are purchased and delivered timely and cost-effectively.
•Support supplier strategy, operating procedures, and KPIs; participate in negotiations and competitive bid exercises.
•Evaluate and manage vendors: pre-qualification, performance assessment, and contract renewal support.
•Raise and follow up on quotations and purchase/exchange/loan orders using the inventory control system; maintain up-to-date supplier and procurement records.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor degree in Engineering/Management (Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Electro-Mechanical preferred) or a higher diploma/certificate with relevant experience and exposure.
•5+ years of related experience in technical procurement within the engineering department in the aviation industry.
•Specialized knowledge of procurement and inventory management systems, acquisition, and contract management.
•Experience with vendor relationships, including tender submissions, technical contracts, and SLAs.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
