Job Summary

Analyze and prepare laboratory samples for ATI’s Analytical Laboratory on a 12-hour fixed Pitman night schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on/off every other week). Perform ICP-OES and ICP-MS testing, routine dissolution and wet/gravimetric analyses, and maintain instrument readiness through preventive maintenance. Work with cross-functional teams, evaluate and prioritize incoming samples, process analytical data into LIMS, and support continuous improvement and safety-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and analyze samples using multiple analytical techniques including ICP-OES and ICP-MS.
•Prepare samples by dissolving into solution using routine dissolution techniques.
•Perform wet and gravimetric chemical analyses and support continuous improvement of processes.
•Evaluate and prioritize incoming samples and contribute to Daily Management Board communication.
•Process analytical data for entry into the LIMS database and perform routine preventive maintenance on instruments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science plus at least one year of laboratory experience.
•In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a 2-year degree plus at least 2 years of laboratory experience.
•General proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating technical and non-technical information.
•Ability to work with cross-functional groups and provide exceptional attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
