Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead facility electrical planning and design through purchase/installation work and verification (including test operation).
  • •Ensure electrical work design/selection complies with applicable laws, JIS/IEC standards, and Micron safety/EHS requirements.
  • •Execute project management for scope, schedule, cost, quantity, space, and safety, including contractor/supplier education and requirement communication.
  • •Perform quality control via the commissioning process, document control, and provide education during handover.
  • •Conduct and evaluate risk analyses during the project (e.g., BCP/FMEA/RA and other risk assessment methods) and manage safety supervision during construction.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge of electricity and physics equivalent to a technical college (KOSEN) or university degree.
  • •Qualification as a third-class electrical chief engineer or above, or equivalent knowledge with relevant work experience.
  • •Ability to read electrical drawings/electrical construction drawings and perform FAT/SAT evaluation and verification.
  • •General understanding of safety, disaster prevention, and environmental protection regulations and related Japanese laws/requirements.
  • •Basic PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CAD) and communication, problem-solving, and escalation skills to collaborate with others.
