Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership for engineering tasks, analyzing site data, survey data, and technical reports for project development and construction.
  • •Lead development of construction plans, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates for ports and marine projects; coordinate field safety plans and field activities.
  • •Manage cross-functional teams on mid-level projects or multiple smaller projects; track budgets and PS&E submissions.
  • •Write technical reports and documentation using sketches, calculations, and engineering software (SAP2000, FEM tools).
  • •Mentor staff engineers, apply advanced analysis techniques, and ensure compliance with marine standards and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Registered Professional Engineer licensure (multi-state preferred)
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant marine engineering design experience (rehabilitation and new design)
  • •Proficiency in SAP2000 or equivalent FEM software; design and detailing of reinforced and prestressed concrete and steel per ACI/AISC/PCI/AASHTO
  • •Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT and related BIM tools
  • •Demonstrated construction experience in ports and marine projects; strong leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
