Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct investigations for moderate-to-high complexity auto claims to reach recovery conclusions using statements, public records, and report analysis.
  • •Evaluate recovery potential for personal auto/property claims and pursue damages through appropriate recovery avenues, including arbitration.
  • •Negotiate settlements with contractors, adjusters, or insured representatives.
  • •Proactively pursue medical subrogation claims (MP/PIP/UMBI/UIMBI) where recovery is allowed under state-specific rules.
  • •Recognize and document subrogation, SIU, and salvage opportunities; refer accordingly and ensure risk is monitored per risk and compliance policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed Bachelor’s degree.
  • •3+ years of Medical Subrogation experience, or 3+ years of 1st party (MP/PIP) experience, or 3+ years of Third Party/UM/UIM BI experience.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of common law, contract and negligence laws.
  • •Ability to confidently resolve issues and negotiate fair settlements.
  • •Ability to manage claims with strong written communication, attention to detail, and accuracy; maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days.
