Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Senior Director to refine knit designs from initial concept to show sample across Women’s and Men’s collections and multi-channels.
  • •Lead knit design research, including visual/vintage/trend-based research, stitch/garment concepts, and seasonal yarn/fabric development with vendors.
  • •Create mock-ups for stylist meetings in 3D and digitally rendered formats, and develop knitwear assortments for collection and multi-channel cohesion.
  • •Mentor and manage junior designers, delegate work, and ensure team output meets deadlines and business objectives.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally (merchandising, product development, technical design) to align creative vision with business needs and deliver timely, brand-right development through commercialization.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of design experience, preferably in knitwear.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
  • •Strong fashion sense and ability to interpret trends for RTW knitwear.
  • •Ability to create hand sketches/renderings (including figure drawings) and CAD technical drawings.
  • •Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
