Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for the safety of assigned project staff and project operations during HSEMS implementation
  • •Conduct safety inspections of site facilities, equipment, and marine units using HSE checklists and verify compliance with safety regulations
  • •Report, investigate, and track accidents, near misses, and substandard practices/conditions; analyze causes and recommend corrective actions
  • •Supervise subcontractors and the team on site regarding safety issues, and ensure safety plan execution
  • •Prepare and coordinate HSE training plans, support safety meetings/toolbox/JSA sessions, and observe emergency mock drills while maintaining HSE records and reports

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. in an engineering discipline or an equivalent/relevant professional qualification
  • •Relevant HSE Management qualification
  • •Certification/membership: NEBOSH or IOSH or OSHA or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
  • •Knowledge and understanding of the ISM Code
  • •Marine experience working with HSE engineering (marine experienced HSE Engineers required)
