Job Summary

Supervise and mentor credit hire file handlers in the technical credit hire unit, helping them progress to achieve technical excellence aligned with client SLAs. Work with the business unit director and technical manager to drive technical policies, plan training needs, and support pre-audit and pre-trial reviews. Manage a caseload of 10–15 claims valued over £25k and ensure compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations while developing new starters.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise credit hire file handlers against the competency framework and maintain accurate technical development records.
•Mentor and coach file handlers to extend technical knowledge and expertise.
•Assist with pre-audit assessments for external client audits and internal unit audits.
•Identify training requirements and share feedback to the appropriate team leader and tactical delivery director.
•Undertake pre-trial reviews no later than 6 weeks prior to trial/disposal, and manage a caseload of approximately 10–15 claims valued over £25k while ensuring compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations.
