Key Responsibilities

  • •Initiate, schedule, review, and monitor daily nominations to maintain pipeline integrity and minimize OBA and shipper/customer imbalances.
  • •Coordinate with traders on daily scheduling and balancing positions for interstate and intrastate pipelines, reporting issues affecting flow.
  • •Interact with gas control representatives, customers, operators, producers, and pipeline companies regarding nominations, allocations, billing, imbalances, and daily flow/operational orders.
  • •Calculate, prepare, and analyze scheduling-related information and reports including allocations, balancing deliveries, nominations/confirmations, pricing, flow/capacity issues, measurement discrepancies, and storage balances.
  • •Manage daily volumetric imbalances with end-users, shippers, and pipelines in accordance with contractual and system compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or accounting with job related experience (or equivalent education).
  • •Experience and thorough knowledge of nomination and scheduling of energy product volumes on a pipeline system.
  • •Experience analyzing and resolving issues/questions related to scheduling, nominations, balancing, and allocations.
  • •Experience using office equipment, mainframe applications, microcomputers, and applicable software.
  • •Experience reading/interpreting contracts, agreements, reports, invoices, confirmations, correspondence, tariffs, regulations, and electronic bulletin board communications.
