Job Summary

Perform system planning and circuit analysis for electric distribution circuits 15kV and below, and develop remediation plans to improve safety, reliability, and cost effectiveness. Lead project engineering and project management for electric distribution facilities 69kV and below, including designs, cost estimates, and construction. Support field teams with power quality troubleshooting, coordinate with customers and contractors, and prepare load analyses and permitting/rights-of-way tasks, including emergency storm call-out.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, design, estimate, budget, and manage projects for reliability, system growth, and maintenance for the electric system.
•Perform system planning and circuit analysis for distribution circuits 15kV and below, developing remediation plans as needed.
•Lead engineering analysis and project engineering work to support integration of renewable energy resources (25kW to 5MW) into the distribution system.
•Provide technical support to field representatives, including power quality and trouble-shooting analysis for customers’ facilities.
•Meet with customers and stakeholders to determine needed actions, perform engineering/design modifications (including permits and rights-of-way), and provide emergency call-out for storm restoration.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,100 - 137,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (Electrical preferred or other engineering disciplines acceptable).
•Completion of power-related courses is preferred.
•E.I.T. certification or P.E. registration is preferred.
•Electrical engineering and project management experience is preferred (recent graduates may be considered).
•Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, analytical skills, and advanced computer skills.
