Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a 10–15 engineer team, promoting technical excellence, collaboration and accountability; define roles, growth plans, performance evaluations and training plans
  • •Manage the Middle Office roadmap with Product, Operations, Risk/Compliance and business areas; translate operational/regulatory requirements into clear technical deliverables (stories, acceptance criteria, NFRs)
  • •Ensure service/API–driven design, modularity and scalability aligned with transactional growth; establish and reinforce quality standards including testing coverage, automated testing, SDLC security, performance and observability
  • •Ensure production stability, incident monitoring, postmortems and continuous improvement (SRE mindset); collaborate with Architecture/Platform to improve CI/CD pipelines, environments, deployments and controls
  • •Measure and improve engineering metrics (DORA, cycle times, availability) and ensure compliance with auditing, access control, data protection and risk requirements

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years in software development with at least 2–3 years in team leadership (ideal 10+ people)
  • •Experience in transactional, high-criticity environments (Fintech, banking, payments, e-commerce, telco)
  • •Proven track record delivering internal/operational products with multiple stakeholders
  • •Strong ability to translate operational/regulatory requirements into technical deliverables (stories, acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements)
  • •Experience with API-oriented design, services, modular architecture and CI/CD pipelines
