Job Summary

Own product security outcomes within Salesforce’s Product Security team inside the Security organization. •Lead product security work within the Product Security organization to secure customer data and assets while balancing risk and security posture.
•Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive security risk outcomes across SaaS and on-prem services.
•Manage executive stakeholder expectations and business risk for product engineering business units.
•Prioritize, optimize, and track execution of the security backlog using a single work stream grounded in business risk impact.
•Translate complex security concepts into business-friendly language and influence decision-making without direct authority.

Key Requirements

•10-15 years of experience in information security, including 5-10 years in a leadership role focused on technical security across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and third-party integrations.
•Deep understanding of security principles across tech layers, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure security (network, endpoint, IAM), and application security (SAST, DAST, secure coding).
•Familiarity with security tools such as Splunk (SIEM), vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Nessus), and IAM solutions (Okta, SailPoint).
•Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as SOX, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, and CIS Controls.
•A related technical degree required.
