Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment systems (e.g., electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials) using test instruments and road tests.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain the service vehicle with safety checks and daily pre-/post-trip inspections, and work in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  • •Document work on repair orders (ROs), upload required photos/findings via company standards using a company-issued iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination such as 5 years experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months.
  • •Complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a DOT medical card with more than four months remaining).
  • •At least 21 years old; hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a Driver Qualification File.
