Key Responsibilities

  • •Run a unit day to day and help maintain high standards of personal, person-centred care.
  • •Support clinical duties, including supporting the nurse with observing residents, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and keeping accurate records.
  • •Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including responsible shift handovers.
  • •Help train and supervise new staff so they feel welcomed and supported.
  • •Assist residents with personal care duties and build relationships with residents, families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.

  • •Support clinical duties with the nurse, including care plan reviews and accurate record keeping.
  • •Flexible availability across Monday to Sunday including alternate weekends.
