  • •Develop automation pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • •Define SLOs for network infrastructure in Akamai Connected Cloud to ensure availability and performance.
  • •Collaborate with support, operations, and engineering to investigate and troubleshoot complex network-related problems, including participating in on-call rotations; mentor team members and drive code quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience and a Bachelor's diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent.
  • •Experience in Site or Network Reliability Engineering, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, or DevOps for large-scale distributed systems.
  • •Advanced proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt Stack, Chef, Puppet, or similar.
  • •Experience with Linux networking at the userspace level and open source networking software such as FRR, Bird, or goBGP.
  • •Experience developing applications and writing scripts using Python, Bash, or Go, plus CI/CD tool experience such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
