Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Assess and update understanding of clients’ financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis, partnering with investment advisors on account objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends, and market issues to serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their professionals.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing sales activity/pipeline using the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Coordinate integrated client service by working with internal IRM partners and advocating for clients while maintaining compliance within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience with clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, investment management, asset allocation, and retail credit/bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain active SIE, FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), and meet SAFE/NMLS requirements within required timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
