Key Responsibilities

  • •Accurately interpret work orders, job orders, specifications, blueprints, and technical manuals and apply basic blueprint terms and symbols.
  • •Build and brace concrete forms using various systems, including proper anchoring and bracing of forms and structures.
  • •Cut, bend, install, and tie rebar; measure and lay out work using square, measuring tape, or rule.
  • •Pour and finish concrete and handle/apply epoxy grouts correctly.
  • •Observe and comply with safety and project rules; load/transport/unload materials and tools, and follow safe rigging and crane hand-signal practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Has worked as a Concrete Finisher for at least 3 years as a journeyman.
  • •Ability to read and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, specifications and technical manuals.
  • •Demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for concrete work.
  • •Ability to properly build and brace concrete forms, cut/bend/install/tie rebar, and anchor bolts.
  • •Demonstrate pouring and finishing concrete, including proper handling and application of epoxy grouts.
