Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and support day-to-day trade compliance activities related to import and export transactions.
•Ensure compliance with SEZ and STPI regulatory requirements, including maintenance of records, filings, reporting, and coordination with relevant authorities.
•Handle customs clearance processes for import and export cargo in coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
•Review and validate shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of entry, shipping bills, and other trade-related documents.
•Support classification, valuation, and documentation accuracy to ensure compliant customs declarations and timely cargo movement.

Key Requirements

•5 to 7 years of experience in trade compliance, with practical exposure to import and export compliance matters.
•Working knowledge of SEZ and STPI compliances is mandatory.
•Hands-on experience in customs clearance of import and export cargo is required.
•Strong understanding of customs documentation, clearance procedures, and coordination with customs brokers and logistics partners.
•Good knowledge of applicable trade regulations, operational controls, and recordkeeping requirements.
