Job Summary

Lead enterprise-wide financial close governance and controllership for all legal entities, driving timely, accurate reporting and audit readiness. Oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting & consolidations, and technical accounting/IFRS, partnering with finance and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver external reporting and management disclosures. Set controllership strategy and performance metrics, advance automation and standardization, strengthen internal controls, and support executive and Board interactions across CFO, VP Controller, and audit stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Set the global controllership agenda across close, consolidation, external reporting, and technical accounting.
•Own enterprise-wide financial close governance, including approval of close and control standards, and drive an accelerated close cycle.
•Provide executive oversight of external reporting and disclosures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance for financial statements, MD&A, debt reporting, and regulatory filings.
•Oversee group consolidations and reporting integrity, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies and robust controls across legal entities and jurisdictions.
•Lead technical accounting governance, approving complex accounting positions and ensuring consistent interpretation and application of IFRS; strengthen internal controls and remediate control gaps.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,500 - 215,000

Key Requirements

•CPA-CA (or equivalent recognized designation) required.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an asset.
•Deep expertise in IFRS and external reporting requirements for public companies, including MD&A, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
•12–15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership leadership experience overseeing multi-entity, global finance organizations.
•Demonstrated ability leading large, geographically dispersed teams and operating effectively at the executive level with CFO/VP Controller and audit stakeholders.
