Key Responsibilities

  • •In assigned therapeutic areas, act as the single point of contact for clinical issues, literature, guidelines, and approved and pipeline therapies for the business development group.
  • •Develop a grant-seeking strategy based on identified knowledge, competency, and performance gaps.
  • •Partner with business development colleagues to conceive and present CME plans aligned with funding opportunities and educational needs.
  • •Independently create materials (PowerPoint slides, documents, internal tools) to support CME grant funding and proposals.
  • •For funded projects, partner with the content development team and help publish educational impact results (posters, conference presentations, and journal articles).

Key Requirements

  • •An advanced degree in life sciences (MD, Pharm.D, PhD, M.S.).
  • •At least 5 years’ experience developing clinical education and/or business development strategies.
  • •At least 3 years’ experience as a scientific lead or medical director in medical education or pharmaceutical medical affairs.
  • •At least 2 years’ experience supporting grant-based funding efforts (preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of CME industry regulations and excellent written and verbal communication.
