Key Responsibilities

  • •Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn and support technical sales activities for building systems and controls.
  • •Understand the design, application, and sale of controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
  • •Attend sales meetings and participate in business functions, sales/service calls, and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors.
  • •Follow the end-to-end sales engineer process from start to finish and gain hands-on experience throughout the internship.
  • •Collaborate with peers across North America and become a daily point-of-contact to support customer relationships and solution-making.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree during the entire 12-week internship, preferably in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or Engineering.
  • •Completed at least the sophomore/2nd year before the start of the summer internship.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Have a passion for continuous learning in technical fields and the ability to understand and communicate engineering solutions.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and be able to provide proof of insurance with no major or frequent traffic violations (including specified offenses).
