Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, diagnose root causes, and order parts.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintain complete, timely work-order documentation daily.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as needed.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance and maintain a clean, professional service vehicle; assist training of lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • •Able to meet physical requirements (move/stand/stoop/bend and lift up to 50 pounds) and pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check.
  • •Field technicians may be required to be clean shaven for customer worksites (if required by worksites).
