Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform service, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers (screw, scroll, centrifugal).
  • •Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues in chiller and HVAC systems.
  • •Conduct chiller start-up, commissioning, performance testing, and system optimization.
  • •Manage site execution for data center cooling projects, including planning, installation oversight, and contractor/OEM coordination.
  • •Maintain service reports and documentation, perform root-cause analysis with corrective/preventive actions, and submit 8D reports to customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • •5–10 years of hands-on experience servicing air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, preferably in data centre applications.
  • •Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, HVAC controls, and BMS/EMS integration, including cooling redundancy concepts.
  • •Experience executing projects, supervising installation, and commissioning HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (wiring diagrams, P&IDs) and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control faults using service tools and diagnostic software.
