Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage consumer NPI mechanical and thermal component qualification, manufacturing technology management, and MP readiness.
  • •Represent Operations early in the product life cycle and provide manufacturability, quality, cost, and yield impact input to engineering teams.
  • •Ensure clear product specifications (e.g., CMF, cosmetic spec, 2D drawings, reliability requirements).
  • •Lead suppliers to establish efficient fabrication process flow and drive solutions to issues affecting MP.
  • •Use manufacturability feasibility analysis and SPC data to identify risks, optimize manufacturability, and drive yield/efficiency improvements while addressing production failures with corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience); M.S. preferred.
  • •3+ years of consumer product design experience.
  • •In-depth knowledge of industrial design decoration manufacturing technology capability, material selection, and tooling/mold technologies.
  • •Hands-on proficiency in DFM good practices to provide data-driven design suggestions.
  • •Knowledge of modern mechanical design tools (preferably Creo or SolidWorks) and testing/inspection methods.
