Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and lead configuration, hardening, and updates of Linux operating systems for the secure enclave.
  • •Administer and maintain security applications including SIEM, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, and insider threat tooling.
  • •Validate telemetry, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and support RMF-aligned vulnerability management, endpoint security, and auditing.
  • •Use Red Hat/Linux, Splunk, Tenable, Trellix, Teramind, and Microsoft Active Directory/Group Policy to implement and validate security controls and maintain enclave security posture visibility.
  • •Oversee vulnerability and STIG scanning and coordinate remediation, while producing security documentation, assessment artifacts, and POA&M mitigation activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
  • •10+ years of related experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with Red Hat and other Linux distributions, including securing and updating systems in an enclave environment.
  • •Hands-on experience administering Splunk (SIEM), Tenable (vulnerability management), and Trellix (endpoint security), plus Teramind for insider threat monitoring.
  • •Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and implementing controls via Group Policy, along with knowledge of NIST SP 800 series (notably 800-37, 800-53, 800-30).
