Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee instrumentation and control construction activities on a major EPCM refinery project, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, and schedule achievement.
  • •Supervise and coordinate I&C contractors’ supervision and manpower, ensuring compliance with HSES policy, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Ensure contractors adhere to Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and site instructions.
  • •Monitor field construction progress; conduct site inspections, construction surveillance, walk-downs, and verification of completed works.
  • •Support inspection, testing, loop checking, and pre-commissioning preparation; review drawings/specifications and resolve construction issues and technical queries related to instrumentation works.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in an Instrument Supervisor role on major EPCM, oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or power projects.
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience and experience across live plant, greenfield, brownfield, turnaround, shutdown, or revamp projects.
  • •Extensive experience managing instrumentation and control construction activities in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power generation, or similar process industries.
  • •Strong knowledge of instrumentation drawings and documents (e.g., loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, instrument indexes) and project specifications.
  • •Demonstrated HSES awareness, including experience preparing or reviewing Method Statements, JSA, and Risk Assessments.
