Job Summary

Lead international GAAP/IFRS accounting and local tax provisions outside the US as part of Elastic’s global Finance team. Manage external auditors and tax consultants, oversee tax compliance and reporting (SOX), and drive process improvements across global jurisdictions to support Elastic’s scale and cross-border operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and coordinate international GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory tax provisions across multiple jurisdictions outside the United States, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external auditors
•Ensure SOX compliance and reporting as a public company
•Oversee external consultants to ensure timely and accurate tax returns, R&D credits, foreign tax returns, Pillar 2 and transfer pricing compliance
•Coordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
•Support tax projects such as acquisitions, restructurings, tax planning, and legal entity assessments

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (CPA/MS in Tax strongly preferred)

•Experience managing tax compliance processes and external consultants
•Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
