Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electrical repairs to keep machinery and equipment operating reliably.
  • •Install and commission high voltage underground/surface transformers, splices, boxes, and switches.
  • •Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair instrument and electrical equipment underground, in the concentrator, and on the surface.
  • •Maintain housekeeping standards; comply with environmental laws and MSHA rules and regulations.
  • •Complete maintenance reports and logs, test repairs as applicable, and order materials.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Licensed as a Journeyman Electrician in Idaho (or able to pass the Idaho Journeyman Electrical Licensing test).
  • •ATF possessor clearance required.
  • •Complete MSHA 40-hour training or provide 5000-23 documentation of completed training.
  • •Experience with mine settings and high/med/low voltage power distribution systems is preferred.
