Job Summary

Build and scale test automation tools for Visa’s Payment Authorization and Monitoring (PAM) Tools team. Create test plans, cases, and scripts; develop and maintain UI automation with Java, Selenium, and Playwright; and implement API automation with Rest Assured. Own CI/CD integration via Jenkins pipelines, collaborate with Dev and QA, and use Linux and SQL to troubleshoot and validate data for reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities

•Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and execute/report on manual and automated testing suites.
•Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright, ensuring framework robustness and reusability.
•Create and manage API automation scripts using Java and Rest Assured; validate APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
•Configure Jenkins pipelines and automation jobs, and set up/configure test environments, including deploying to QA servers on Linux.
•Troubleshoot issues on Linux systems, write/execute SQL queries for data validation, and collaborate with Development and QA teams through code reviews and pull requests.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
•Strong understanding of OOP and testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG.
•Strong experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
•Solid understanding of Rest Assured for API testing, including HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML parsing.
•Experience with build and CI/CD tooling such as Maven/Gradle and Jenkins, plus Git/GitHub and Linux/command-line fundamentals.
