Job Summary

Coordinate and schedule customer deliveries by managing company trucks and outside haulers. Process orders received by phone, email, and electronic channels, build shipping schedules, and dispatch deliveries in a timely, compliant manner. Partner with the sales team, shipping/receiving, customers, and delivery/trucking services to meet delivery requirements, using tracking and scheduling software and local route knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive and process customer orders through telephone, email, and other electronic means.
•Prepare shipping schedules and maintain accountability of outgoing and incoming shipments.
•Work with the company trucking fleet and outside haulers to meet delivery times and compliance requirements.
•Communicate with customers and truck drivers to dispatch orders efficiently and on time.
•Manage delivery-area route planning and use tracking and scheduling software to support day-to-day operations.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school/general education degree (GED) required.
•Previous related experience in building materials dispatch or transportation industry preferred.
•Knowledge of masonry and hardscapes products, building materials, and cements is preferred.
•Computer aptitude including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams; SAP knowledge a plus.
•Read and understand maps and use mapping tools; excellent verbal and mathematical skills.
