Job Summary

Lead WSP’s Transportation Local Business Line across Orange County and Southern California, driving operational performance, growth, and client engagement. Represent the Transportation business line externally while strengthening relationships with public agencies and regional partners. Partner with California Region and Transportation leadership to build high-performing teams through recruiting, mentoring, training, and process improvements. Oversee strategy, KPIs, forecast, and business development for highway, bridge, transit/rail, aviation, and mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive performance of the transportation business and strategically grow market share to become a preferred, trusted advisor.
•Manage local client coordination and cross-selling, representing the Transportation business line through civic and industry events.
•Organize business operations with focus on vision, culture, talent development, client engagement, and performance strategy.
•Provide proactive leadership of recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
•Develop local growth/forecast and business development strategy while monitoring KPIs and resolving internal and external issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 240,000 - 353,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 15 years of experience in the A/E/C industry with a strong focus in transportation.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, or related discipline.
•Located in Southern California (preferred Orange County/Irvine).
•Ability to travel between Southern California offices (e.g., Irvine, Riverside, Los Angeles).
•Demonstrated experience leading teams with personal accountability, persistence, and growth.
