Job Summary

Provide effective, safe nursing care to a defined group of patients and families, following established nursing regimes and care plans under guidance of a preceptor or RN. Deliver care consistent with QCHP Nursing/Midwifery competencies, Joint Commission International, and plan-of-care and regulatory requirements. Assess and monitor patients, administer medications and therapies, perform procedures, document in the electronic medical record, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide nursing care to a select patient population and families under guidance, carrying out established nursing regimes.
•Assess patients, monitor signs and symptoms, and determine normal vs abnormal characteristics.
•Ensure quality of care by following therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes vs goals, and making/recommending adjustments as needed.
•Deliver direct and indirect care including medication/therapeutic administration and required clinical procedures.
•Plan and implement patient care, initiate emergency procedures when indicated, document in the electronic medical record, and communicate with healthcare teams.

Key Requirements

•Provide nursing care to patients and families in an effective and safe manner under a preceptor or designated RN.
•Plan, deliver, and document patient care using the nursing process in line with QCHP Nursing/Midwifery competency framework and scope of practice.
•Assess patient signs, symptoms, and behaviors to identify normal vs abnormal characteristics and determine outcomes for timely care.
•Administer medications and therapeutic agents, perform basic procedures (e.g., skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, peripheral venous access), and observe reactions to medications/treatments.
•Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (required) and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; SAP/ERP functional knowledge is preferred.
