Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise the company on legal obligations in data privacy and cybersecurity, including GLBA, FCRA, NY DFS Cybersecurity Regulation, evolving AI regulation, and other federal and state laws.
  • •Support privacy and information security program development, including policies, procedures, and incident response processes.
  • •Review and negotiate AI, technology, data, and other contracts to support technology acquisition and services.
  • •Prepare or review proposed contracts, leases, and other formal agreements; draft and revise insurance-related contracts and documents.
  • •Provide legal research, advice, and guidance to departments, including support for corporate transactions and other matters outside the technology space.

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. or L.L.B. degree from an accredited law school required.
  • •Ten years of related experience, preferably in corporate and/or insurance law, required.
  • •Admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one state; if not admitted in Pennsylvania, eligible for admission by reciprocity, limited in-house admission, or examination required.
  • •Experience or knowledge in insurance or the financial industry preferred.
  • •Experience in one or more areas of technology, AI, privacy, cybersecurity, and/or data use strongly preferred.
