Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor third-party design and construction firms producing multi-disciplinary construction models.
  • •Review and validate third-party BIM work and requirements including clash detection, metadata checks, LOD alignment, ACC model management workflows, and model/file naming conventions.
  • •Collaborate with external BIM teams to align BIM expectations with facility requirements and project timelines; manage contractor staff resource allocation across projects.
  • •Provide Navisworks technical mentorship and training as needed for contract BIM coordinator staff and perform Navisworks clash detection.
  • •Use BIM and project management tools (ACC, Procore, Revit, AutoCAD) to monitor progress related to BIM signoffs and support Micron BIM/VDC requirements and workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in the BIM/VDC industry.
  • •Solid understanding of BIM/VDC workflows, Navisworks functionality, Autodesk software, and CDE platforms (ACC), plus general industry standards.
  • •Familiarity with AEC project organizational change workflows for Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build with owner involvement/oversight.
  • •Familiarity with Facilities Engineering teams and roles.
