Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using data across many equipment makes and models.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and complete repairs.
  • •Work individually or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; assist with training lower level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if not already certified); must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a 10-panel drug screen.
