Key Responsibilities

  • •Create conversational programs and set up and/or operate sinker/wire EDM machines.
  • •Program/operate graphite CNC machining and pull/design electrodes.
  • •Optimize electrode design and machining parameters for different materials and surface finishes with the engineering team.
  • •Machine electrodes to required tolerances, meet expected completion dates, and perform measurement/inspection using gauges, indicators, and micrometers.
  • •Develop and make fixtures for the EDM area and perform preventative maintenance on EDM machines as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •5+ years sinker EDM programming experience.
  • •Experience with CNC EDM setup, operating, and basic programming.
  • •Ability to pull or design electrodes (1+ year).
  • •Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
