Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates to achieve inspection center production targets.
  • •Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day activities, identify strengths/weaknesses, and implement improvement steps to meet daily, weekly, and monthly inventory production goals.
  • •Engage the team with coaching, feedback, and performance management; proactively communicate expectations, performance measures, and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects, train associates using Quality Control standards, and partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
