Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform engine tune-ups on internal combustion engines.
  • •Check and replace batteries; rotate, repair, and replace tires; wash/polish/clean vehicle interiors and exteriors.
  • •Clean and replace oil and air filters; inspect, repair, and adjust brakes; replace windshield wipers and similar minor parts.
  • •Drain, flush, and replace engine, transmission, and differential grease and oils; calibrate/replace spark plugs; assist with small engine repair.
  • •Assist with major overhauls, maintain tools and equipment, dispose of filters/oils/HazMat properly, and transport vehicles/equipment to/from repair facilities.

Salary: USD 29.82 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • •1+ year of related experience in the automotive parts field.
  • •Knowledge of motor vehicle mechanic trade practices, methods, tools, and equipment.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of motor vehicles.
  • •Valid Class C California driver license; California Class A preferred.
