Key Responsibilities

  • •Pack, band, label, and prepare equipment, parts, materials, and products for shipment while minimizing damage.
  • •Compare shipping orders to identify correct units/materials and complete transactions in Eaton systems to keep inventory accurate.
  • •Prepare shipping paperwork (commercial invoices, shipping lists, instruction/booklet documents) and manage/sort paperwork for closed trailers staged for carrier pull.
  • •Communicate order status updates and coordinate with carriers when loads are ready to be pulled.
  • •Maintain quality through visual inspections and troubleshooting; perform process improvement and root cause analysis as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •1 year of manufacturing or operations experience.
  • •Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •Must reside within 50 miles of the Sumter facility.
  • •Experience with Eaton systems (Vista order entry, DMM material management, AS400 MRP/ERP) is preferred.
