Job Summary

Design and implement security controls for GCP workloads, including IAM, VPC security, VPNs, KMS, Cloud Armor, and secure networking. Own monitoring, threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, patching, and audit preparation for GCP environments. Automate security audits and compliance using Terraform and scripting, and help architects deploy secure-by-default infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security alerts and support cloud transformation, DR, and secure migrations.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement GCP security controls across IAM, VPC security, VPNs, KMS, Cloud Armor, and secure networking for GCP workloads.
•Manage identity and access with SSO, MFA, and federated IDP configurations, and ensure secure-by-default infrastructure.
•Monitor workloads with Cloud Operations Suite, escalate anomalies, and support threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, and patching.
•Automate security audits and compliance controls using Terraform and scripting, including audit preparation, policy enforcement, and evidence gathering.
•Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to resolve security alerts and support secure cloud transformation, migration, and DR strategies.

Key Requirements

•8+ years total experience with 5+ years in cloud security engineering and automation.
•Must have GCP Solution Architect Certification and Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
•Implement and manage GCP security controls including IAM, VPC security, VPNs, KMS, and Cloud Armor.
•Monitor workloads using Cloud Operations Suite, escalate anomalies, and support threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, and patching.
•Automate security audits and compliance controls using Terraform and Cloud Shell scripting, with strong GCP solution architecture skills.
