Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary power plant team across gas turbines, balance of plant, controls, and commissioning.
  • •Own the full lifecycle of gas turbine power generation assets—installation, commissioning, startup, operations, and long-term maintenance—driving availability, reliability, and performance.
  • •Set technical direction for commissioning, including combustion tuning, control system checkout, protective relay testing, and performance verification.
  • •Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for turbine trips, forced outages, and performance degradation; establish a no-repeat standard.
  • •Coordinate inspections and outage planning with OEM intervals, manage spare parts and maintenance budgets, and serve as the primary technical/commercial interface with OEMs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years experience in utility-scale gas turbines or 14+ years in commissioning, operations, maintenance, or plant engineering roles.
  • •2+ years of project management experience leading operations.
  • •Direct experience commissioning or leading operations for gas turbines (e.g., GE 7/9HA, Siemens Energy SGT6/8-8000H, Mitsubishi M501/701JAC, or Doosan H-class).
  • •Working knowledge of combined-cycle systems including gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, generators, and balance-of-plant equipment.
  • •Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and turbine control logic.
