Job Summary

Assist with conflicts clearance by evaluating transactions to determine which names belong on restricted or watch lists, and by analyzing touchpoints to identify potential conflicts of interest. Partner with legal, compliance, and deal teams on MNPI/inside information assessments, wall-crossing requests, and trade pre-clearances. Document analyses, manage deal updates, and enhance conflicts-check systems. Support additional initiatives including market soundings policy and trade surveillance upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate potential transactions to determine restricted or watch list placement.
•Coordinate with legal/compliance and deal teams on additions/removals, including MNPI/inside information assessments.
•Identify transactional conflicts, escalate appropriately, and formulate recommendations to address conflicts of interest.
•Analyze company touchpoints, document clearing analysis, and obtain deal updates from investment teams.
•Review/manage wall-crossing requests and trade and personal trading pre-clearances; enhance conflicts documentation systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 165,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
•7+ years of work experience at a major financial services firm in the control room and/or conflicts management group, or relevant legal and compliance experience.

•Ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
•Strong initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while being a team player.
