Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and supervise the Southwest Dams and Hydropower Department serving Arizona, Utah, and Southern California areas.
  • •Deliver business results, including sales, revenue, profitability, and growth; maintain and develop business with existing and new clients.
  • •Oversee project performance and team performance; provide direction and leadership to the team; oversee design and engineering for dams, spillways, hydropower, and geotechnical projects.
  • •Recruit new staff to grow the team and the business; manage scope, schedule, and budget.
  • •Prepare engineering service proposals, cost estimates, and schedules; review deliverables and mentor junior staff.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • •Master’s or PhD in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • •7+ years of progressive experience managing departments or teams of similar sizes (preferred).
  • •Some travel required.
